Originally from San Diego, CA, Brandon Cubas grew up a Clippers fan and could not be happier to now work for his favorite team. Sports were a big part of Brandon’s life from an early age, giving him confidence, allowing him to create lasting friendships, and teaching him the importance of teamwork. These experiences made Brandon’s career path obvious – he knew he needed to work in youth sports to provide kids with the same experiences and lessons he enjoyed.
After studying Psychology and Sports Management at UC Santa Barbara, Brandon became the Sports and Youth Wellness Director for the Santa Barbara Family YMCA, where he oversaw sports camps, sleep away summer camps, and youth leagues and programs. While he enjoyed his time in Santa Barbara, Brandon knew the opportunity to work for his childhood team was too good to pass up, so he jumped at the chance in early 2020.
Brandon primarily focuses on the Clippers’ youth camps, but also provides support for the Jr. Clippers program. His experience as a program director made an immediate impact on camps.
